On July 18, we mark Union Pledge Day
It commemorates the historic 1971 meeting when the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow rulers signed the Union Document and the UAE Constitution — officially declaring the birth of the United Arab Emirates.
