Dubai International Airport (DXB) has maintained its position as the world’s busiest airport for international passenger traffic in 2024—for the 11th consecutive year—according to the Airports Council International (ACI) report.
The airport set a new record by welcoming 92.3 million international passengers in 2024, marking a 6.1% growth compared to 2023.
DXB also ranked second globally in total passenger numbers, reaffirming its position as a key global hub for air travel.
This achievement reflects the ambitious vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai (may God protect him), and the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
At the heart of this excellence is DAEP, playing a pivotal role through the development of advanced and sustainable infrastructure that supports the aviation sector’s rapid growth.
We take pride in being partners in shaping the future of aviation, as new global standards are being set—starting from Dubai.
The future of aviation begins in Dubai.
