95.2 million passengers in 2025

Dubai International Airport has maintained its position for the 12th year in a row as the world’s busiest airport for international passenger traffic, welcoming 95.2 million passengers in 2025, and the highest annual traffic ever recorded in its history.

This exceptional performance reaffirms what His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, described: Dubai International Airport is the lifeline of Dubai and a benchmark in service excellence.

The achievement also reflects the ambitious strategic vision highlighted by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, aligned with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 through sustained investment in infrastructure and innovation, strengthening Dubai’s leadership as a global aviation hub and a gateway to the future.

DAEP is proud of its pivotal role in enabling and developing the advanced, innovative infrastructure of DXB, delivering specialized engineering projects that support the rapid growth in passenger numbers, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the sustainability of its world-class performance.
